The University of North Georgia invites applicants for an Assistant Professor of English on its Dahlonega campus.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: Responsibilities include teaching four English courses each semester. Courses may include First Year Composition, Advanced Composition, Multi-Modal Composition, Introduction to Publishing, Rhetoric, and other English courses that support the Writing & Publication program; Service is expected (academic advising, serving on department and university committees, etc.); Scholarly activity is also expected (presenting at academic conferences, publishing in peer-reviewed academic journals, etc.).
Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements: Ph.D. in English. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience teaching college-level composition and literature, and to those who have experience in teaching on-line courses.
