    Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a leading global supplier of equipment, tools, service, and technical solutions for the mining industry. The product offering covers rock drilling, rock cutting, rock crushing, loading and hauling and materials handling.

    Key performance areas

    As the Pricing Manager, you will be responsible for leading the pricing initiatives with in the US Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology region. These duties will include the maintenance of the parts pricing files and item master within the Sandvik Mining & Rock Technology ERP system. You will maintain new item set up, parts coding, and standard costs in the appropriate ERP system(s). The Pricing Manager will lead the establishment and maintenance of customer pricing agreements to maximize revenue and market penetration, while balancing corporate profitability and ensuring information in the database to ensure that fixed price agreements/discount structures are accurate and current. Additionally, the Pricing manager will conduct price competitive analysis studies on key product categories against other OEM competition and third-party suppliers on both a national and region basis. Working closely with the Sandvik Global Parts Pricing team and the US Field Sales team you will drive actions that ensure Net Price Changes are met.

    Additionally, the Pricing Manager will:

  • Prepare pricing impact analysis, review and report to key stakeholders within the organization
  • Track pricing implementation vs. targeted Net Price Change targets and initiate corrective actions as needed
  • Work closely with the Parts and Services Champion on strategic initiatives to deliver a complete implementation package to the Field Sales team.
  • Maintain local stockroom profiles and modify as needed
  • Review spare parts recommendation lists to ensure pricing is available in the system
  • Support the Rock Tools division and other Capital Good Business Lines as necessary
  • Comply with Sandvik safety policies and applicable government, customer or industry regulations or requirements
  • Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with Company Values and current Company Policies and Procedures
  • This role will include an estimated 20% travel (including both domestic and international travel)
  • Your profile

    The Pricing Manager should possess an Bachelors Degree and 5 years experience in pricing anddatabase administration. You are extremely computer literate and possess a strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite. Your organizational skills are excellent, and you are highly detail oriented.
