Key Responsibilities / Duties Learn Investment applications including, but not limited to, Market Data and Equity platforms in order to support our global investments business partners. Mentoring with other team members will be done until needed levels of expertise are reached. Point of contact for all trade desk related technology support issues around the order management system (OMS), electronic trading systems (EMS), FIX protocol, and all other investment trading applications. Coordinate with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Coordinate and participate in testing for in-house and vendor developed software applications. Work closely with business clients and other IT team members (located locally and abroad) to gather requirements, create detailed documentation, and develop and deliver solutions that automate their daily work. Create and maintain documentation for systems and processes. Analyze problems quickly in a potentially stressful environment and determine course of action to correct. Complete weekly administrative duties on time. Use superior customer service skills to ensure the clients needs are met. Assists with application deployment and upgrade when needed. Train clients on new and upgraded applications. Qualifications Work Experience / Knowledge 3-5 years directly related work experience in Technology and/or Mutual Fund Industry. 3-5 years directly supporting Charles River preferred. Experience working in a technology environment as a business analyst. Experience with order management and execution management system(s), preferred. Experience creating queries utilizing Microsoft SQL server and Oracle DBMS. 2+ years general work experience in technical problem troubleshooting and problem resolution. Hands on experience with MS Office and add-ins. Experience directly supporting traders and/or trade desk operations. Degree in Computer Information Systems or Finance is preferred Working Conditions Normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust and temperatures The ability to lift, carry or otherwise move objects of up to 10 pounds is also necessary Normally works a regular schedule of hours that will range anywhere from 7am ET to 5:30pm ET. Hours may vary depending upon the coverage need, project, or assignment.
