We're seeking a self-motivated individual towork as a PRN Registrar at Memorial Health Medical Center. Paidtraining is provided.
As a Registrar you will be responsiblefor (but not limited to):
* Customer orientation and interpersonal skills. Welcome our patients and familymembers in a professional manner and answer patient and visitor questions. Contact the nursing staff for emergency medical needs. * Communicate. Interview incoming patients, his/herrelatives, or other responsible individuals to obtain identifying andbiographical information with insurance and financial information. Answerany questions and explains policies clearly. * Promote a positive patientexperience by following required policies and procedures. Ensure that all necessary signatures areobtained for treatments. Verify allinsurance and obtain precertification/authorization. Calculate and collectpatient liable amounts. Processpatient charts according to paperwork flow needs and establishedproductivity standards
A highschool diploma or GED is required.
