Cornerstone Hospice & Palliative Care of Georgia is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to be responsible for the clinical and community marketing for Cobb county and surrounding areas. The Sales Manager is responsible for developing an annual marketing plan, annual budgets for assigned areas and is responsible for ensuring that annual admission goals are met. Provides oversight of customer services with physicians, hospitals, LTC, ALF and health care providers. Responsible for ongoing medical community relationships to generate increasing referrals and admissions. At the present time the role will be a working manager but eventually will move into a purely Managerial role.

JOB SUMMARY:

  • Oversees the operations of all aspects of clinical and community marketing activities in specific market.
  • Works with Clinical Liaisons to coordinate marketing/education activities with the physician staff to assure Cornerstone’s growth of market share.
  • Is responsible for hiring, orientation/training, and on-going supervision of direct reports.
  • Works collaboratively with entire Business Development leadership team to develop annual and quarterly marketing plans.
  • Communicates census and admission goals to leadership. Assures staff development and achieves quarterly admission goals.
  • Assures the follow-up on all complaints and suggestions from the community and medical community.
  • Is an active, positive member of the Executive Managers Team. Offers ideas and support for the improvement of systems and staff.
  • Provides leadership in developing sales strategy programs and special marketing events.
  • Provides oversight for the development and implementation of disease-specific programs.
  • Works collaboratively with other managers and the leadership team to accomplish the strategic plans of the organization; includes participation in performance improvement projects and committees as assigned.
  • Conducts monthly Rounding and Supervisory meetings or ride-along with team to provide consistent coaching and performance expectations and feedback.
  • Ensures team involvement with relevant hospital and community health care activities and organizations. Works with senior leaders to grow in-depth relationship with other healthcare organizations in markets.
  • Conducts regularly scheduled business development meetings to provide sales education and updates, review progress toward admission goals, and assist staff in achieving agency goals.
  • Performs other related duties as requested.
  • QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Bachelor’s degree preferred; RN license preferred.

    2. Minimum three years of progressive administrative/management experience or equivalent.

    3. Three years of hospice experience preferred.

    4. Minimum five years of sales experience required.

    5. Demonstrated ability to develop and manage fast-paced, comprehensive, and varied departments.

    6. Demonstrated ability to build a cohesive, cooperative, collaborative team and engender enthusiasm, creativity, professionalism, and excellence in service.

    7. Demonstrated ability to manage staff and objectives in multiple service areas.

    8. Valid state driver’s license and required auto liability insurance.
